Now
you might say that I am probably totally crazy - to school we go just a
little over a week (study on university has not even started yet) and
I'm babbling about essay or seminar work . :-) No, I am not mad.
:-D Lot of people on their blogs wrote the article "Back to school"
where they found many interesting ideas how to facilitate learning (and a
few harvest also practicing). I'd like you to help them prepare to write the above works. Sooner rather than later-on. :-)
I do not write to you are precise instructions what to such work
include: - each of them has its own specifics (otherwise it will look
long homework geography and other term paper on the economy), but the
basis of each work are in my four building blocks:
1) Topic - unfortunately sometimes we subject themselves choose not. :-(
2) At least marginal knowledge of the chosen topic of the thesis - read the passage from a textbook. :-)
3) Plenty of time to prepare - some of us write the work at the last minute. :-D
4) The resources available on the topic - relevant literature, Internet resources, or media :-)
If you do not have a problem with the building block 1 and 2 (a topic
and peripheral knowledge of the subject), we can easily go to the
building blocks 3 and 4 (plenty of time and search for available resources)
that are linked together.
:-) Without sufficient slack you can not choose the right literature
and resources they need to go through and get them the necessary
information.
And now the main thing - to find the right resources. :-) Today, the Internet is not hard to find a pile of information.
The question is which of the information is relevant (true) - always
should be supported by the source from where the author of an Internet
article drew.
This issue does not arise if the information we are looking at
libraries (each municipal library now has an electronic database).
Suppose the teacher / professor entered history as the theme works Tomas Garrigue Masaryk to find on this ruler in the library as much information? You have two options:
a) go to the shelves with books and search the name of any mention of Tomas Garrigue Masaryk. - but this method not very successful.
b) find the book (source) through the first computer in the library
database and build your list - it can also search through your computer
at home and in the library then just go by the created list. :-) This list is called research.
And how to create such a list? Using keywords.
Topic: Tomas Garrigue Masaryk
Keywords: Tomas Garrigue Masaryk, TGM * 1850 - 1937, politician, president, Czechoslovakia, Masaryk (family) ...
Well, now you just need to find books, borrow them, bring home and draw from them the necessary information to write the work.
If you rewrie some information from the book (paragraph or a sentence), put
it in quotation marks and footnote write from what books and which pages
are text quoted. It is governed by the rules of citation norm.
High school students and college students have mouhou let you do a
search directly from the library - the so-called. Search service (this
service is paid and each library is determined by price alone).
I wish you much success in your studies and hope you article will be helpful. :-)
Thank you for reading and sorry for my English. :-)

When I entered the keyword TGM rode out of my database of 279 books.
