Chrochet Hacky Sack

Recently I made a toy - a ball (Hacky Sack) for my mom's cat. Here's how :-)

Material:- Any yarn (just various leftovers)- Fill the pillow- Hook a big Jehu (we had it to produce more :-)) 

Abbreviations used:

st = stitch
sc = single crochet
2tog = crochet 2 stitches together
f/o = finish off

Instruction:

1) magic circle or adjustable loop with 6th (6)
2) 2sc in each (12)
3) 1sc then 2sc in next st (18)
4) 1sc in next 2nd then 2sc in next st (24)
5) 1sc in next 3rd then 2sc in next st (30)
6) 1sc in next 4th then 2sc in next st (36)
7-12) 1sc in each st for 6 rows
13) 1sc in next 4th then 2tog (30)
14) 1sc in next 3rd then 2tog (24)
15) 1sc in next 2nd then 2tog (18)
16) 1sc then 2tog (12)
17) 1sc then 2tog (8)
18) 2tog twice then f/o and end it

Small teddy brother

I decided to knit one more bear to do first was not sad. :-) I hacked it out of the 2 waves beige and tri-color (beige brown and burgundy).

Crochet teddy bear

I decided to try a different kind of handmade than embroidery. I like crocheted toys, so I decided to crochet teddy bear.Since the decision to proceed with expired but a long time. In the past I never  crochet and schemas are a mystery to me. :-) I searched on the internet and on youtube I found instructions for bear, where the procedure is shown step by step. Author Sharon Ojala has videos on his blog there is also a detailed written instructions. So the combination of these two tutorial I understood the basics of crochet. :-) In its pages you will find many other tutorials :-)

Whole excited, I let the video I examined what all I need. Hook a big needle I borrowed from my grandmother's sewing of wool and I drove the next day to galanterky.The first 2 min video I played maybe 10 times before I :-P pochpopila how to do it. When I crocheted teddy bear head, I began to wonder what teddy fill ... the best is polyester fill, but I admit that buying 250 grams filler I could not (I was not sure how my attempt goes). Then I got an idea - given that I am allergic to feathers, I just pillow filled with polyester filling. So what did I do? : P I eased off a bit from my pillow and all that was visible to him. :-)I filled header panels ... and I found out that the head is too loosely crocheted and filling shines. :-( I undid everything and started again.A second attempt but it went well. :-) I successfully has finished body, and I started to crochet hands, feet, nose and tail (all the directions). All this parts then sewed the little body. It remained to sew eyes and bow tie :-)This bear gets my grandmother's birthday.
